Nautical Lino Printing

Lino printing can be extremely fun and creative. You will be guided through the process of creating your own nautical themes lino print and will be able to take away a number of prints to take home and frame.

This is a one-day practical, fun approach to Lino printing . You will learn the fundamentals of lino printing, from drawing and carving your image, to the inking and printing process.  We will look at examples of prints by artists and look at how to take an image and create a print design.

You will have the opportunity to look at how to create varied marks and lines by exploring different tools. So whether you wish to explore boats , mermaids, shells or fish this workshop allows you to do as you please. The class is open to very beginners through to skilled artists. +10year age limit due to H&S

Class usually runs from 6:30- 9:30pm ( can be adapted to be a 3 hour block at a time of your choosing) The class takes place in the coffee shop so it is relaxed and refreshments are available .
